The injury that has kept Rangers midfielder Anthony Davis out of action since December has been a cause for concern. Although the injury is not serious, he is expected to miss at least one month and it seems to be a major obstacle to Gerrard's attempts to get the best out of the rest of the squad. There are no guarantees that he will be fit for the start of the season, although the Gerrards have made it clear that they are giving the 28-year-old every opportunity to recover. However, the former Southampton player has only played in four matches since the turn of the year. He has a left hamstring strain and a foot injury and if he cannot make it for the opening week of the league, he will most likely not be involved in the final stretch of the campaign. During a pre-season friendly at Windsor Park in Perth last weekend, Davis showed that he is capable of more than just the ordinary. It took him a while to get going but he became a force in the final half hour of the game, combining well with his midfield partner John Lundstram. In the process, he outshone fellow loanee Malik Tillman. Info : Yalla shoot live He also took advantage of the angles required to beat the press. The midfielder is a natural in the role of third man. And he is aware of the importance of a good build-up play. While he may not be at his best right now, Davis has been able to use his experience to improve the structure of his team. Indeed, there are few players at the club who can boast as many appearances as he can. His performances have led to debates on whether he will be part of the future. Aside from his performances, the midfielder's greatest contribution was arguably his ability to create pathways into attacking players. After making a name for himself at Aston Villa in the Premier League, he signed a permanent deal with the Ibrox club in January 2008. Earlier this season, he made 17 appearances under Gerrard and won the SFWA's player of the year award. Steven Davis is still the best player at Rangers. He is the most capped British midfielder of all time, and he is currently the leading scorer in the Scottish Premiership. This season, he has played in just two league games. As a result, he has yet to make an impact in the Champions League, although he has done enough to ensure he will be involved in the first team next season. He is also one of the most capped players in Northern Ireland. He has played in 360 games for the club over two spells. He has also won three Scottish League Cups and is tied with former captain Steve Lomas for most goals. Of course, his career has been hampered by injuries, although he has managed to make his mark in the midfield. On top of his record-breaking goal-scoring tally, he was also a key factor in Rangers qualifying for the last 16 of the Europa League. Read More : Yalla shoot today https://www.yalla-shoot-new.net
